Introduction
Search an email address, a phone number, a name or a username across 1,800+ sources, and receive each source's profiles the moment it answers.
Why a streaming search
v1 answers a search in one response, once every source has replied. On all networks that takes minutes, during which your request stays open and shows nothing. v2 splits the search in two calls:
POST /api/v2/searchstarts the search and answers at once with asearch_id.GET /api/v2/search/{search_id}is a Server-Sent Events stream: one event per source that finds something, progress every 5 seconds, then a final event.
The search runs on our side. If your connection drops, nothing is lost: reconnect and the stream resumes where it stopped.
