Response time and limits
The API answers once every source has replied, so the response time depends on how many networks you search.
Response time
- A few networks answer in seconds.
["all"]queries 1,800+ sources and can take several minutes.
Set your HTTP client's timeout to at least 15 minutes, and check that every proxy and load balancer between your server and ours allows a request that long.
If the connection drops
The search and its results are lost; sending the search again starts a new one and spends a new credit.
Searches at once
There is no limit on the number of searches running at once for a key.
